Scope and Contents
This series contains copies of Chalmers' published articles in such journals as the New England Journal of Medicine, The American Journal of Medicine, The Sciences, Controlled Clinical Trials, and The Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine. In addition, there are two bibliographies of Chalmers' publications. Among the many covered titles are clinical trials; meta-analysis; clinical gastroenterology and cardiology, and geriatrics.
The series is organized into 6 sub-series covering work he authored at the Mt. Sinai Clinical Trials Unit, the Technology Assessment Group, Harvard School of Public Health, and papers submitted for publication or in press. These sub-series follow Chalmers' original order and numbering system (which is roughly chronological) as found in folder 1 of Papers, Clinical Trials Unit, Mt. Sinai, 1965-1992.
