Dr. Harry Dowling was Clinical Professor of Medicine, George Washington University (1940-50), and Professor and Head, Department of Medicine, University of Illinois (1951-69). His research interests dealt primarily with infectious diseases, including work with serums, sulfonamides, and antibiotics.
