Series 13: ASAIO (American Society for Artifical Internal Organs), 1955-1985

Materials in this series document Kantrowitz's participation with the American Society for Artificial Internal Organs, of which he was president from 1968 to 1969. Among Kantrowitz's activities were aiding prospective members in preparing applications, submitting papers and abstracts, and attending the annual meetings. Material types in this series include membership applications, curriculum vitae, programs, fliers, abstracts, correspondence, printed matter, and letters of recommendation (which are restricted for 50 years). The series is arranged alphabetically by folder title, followed by annual meeting material which is arranged chronologically.
