Scope and Contents

This series contains speeches, lists of speeches, transcripts, abstracts, drafts, programs, correspondence, clippings, and printed matter separated from Series 12: Conferences, Meetings, and Events. The speeches in these folders were delivered by Kantrowitz and others at several professional events in the 1960s. Speech subjects include the future of cardiology and advancements in cardiac support devices. Researchers should note that the series is not a comprehensive gathering of Kantrowitz's talks. Mention is made in Series 12 folders of other presentations given by Kantrowitz, but those folders do not contain the actual speeches. The material is arranged chronologically by event date.
