This series brings together files from five less heavily documented projects. Documented here are Cardiovascular (CV) Surgery, Aortic Valve Transplant, Assisted Circulation Engineering, Prosthetic Myocardium, and Chronic Heart Failure (CHF). Experiment notebooks, log sheets, patient records and readings, photographs, correspondence, blueprints, expense reports, invoices, and equipment proposals can be found throughout this series. The CV Surgery sub-series contains notebooks kept by Arthur Cohen and Fred Heilman that cover several experiment series involving dogs, and the Assisted Circulation Engineering project contains planning and research records regarding the construction of a new heart surgery study area at Maimonides Hospital. Folders are arranged alphabetically by folder title within each sub-series.
