Scope and Contents

This series contains audiovisual materials in three subseries. The first subseries consists of one videotape containing a 1998 lecture at NIEHS given by Rodbell, entitled "Fifty Years in Science: Zigs and Zags with a Common Theme." The second subseries contains two interviews: one with Barbara Rodbell, and the other with Fernando Ribeiro-Neto, Rodbell's protégé at the NIEHS. David Serlin, a project historian, conducted these interviews during a December 1999 research trip to Chapel Hill, N.C. The third subseries contains one miscellaneous item, a five-minute long videotape recording of Rodbell's NIEHS office taken by David Serlin during 1999.
