Scope and Contents
Luther Terry was an official with the University of Pennsylvania from the time he left the Public Health Service until his death. He was vice president for medical affairs from 1965 to 1971; professor of medicine from 1965 until 1975; adjunct professor from 1975 to 1981 and emeritus professor thereafter. Other University material can also be found in Series 2 Correspondence. A scattering of mostly miscellaneous applications and newsletters bearing... no direct relation to the other series comprises the public health section (1974-1984) of this series. The subseries is followed by some very general medical and social items (1962-1984).
