The Threat Reduction Advisory Committee (TRAC) sub-series contains material Lederberg kept while serving on several of this committee's panels. TRAC was formed by the new Defense Threat Reduction Agency in 1998 to contribute to the agency's counterproliferation efforts. The sub-series includes documents related to the Biological Warfare Joint Study with the Defense Science Board, Counterproliferation Panel, Integration Panel, and Intelligence Panel as well as the committee's first fifteen plenary sessions.
