This series contains board meeting minutes and notes, correspondence, and conference packets. Hinman served in various roles within the organization including chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee, treasurer, and board member from approximately 1981 to 1989.
The Symposium is organized to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and more specifically to sponsor conferences, workshops, symposia, demonstrations and publications concerning the use of computers in medical care and to study, advance, and promote the application of computers to the science and practice of medicine, clinical research and the delivery of health care.
