Cecile Kramer was the first member-editor of MLA News. Previously the Headquarters Office edited the MLA News. Due to duplication, Nancy Garn's files as Associate Editor are interfiled with the Editor's files. International Editor's papers are filed with editorial papers. The editor also serves as a member of the Editorial Committee for the News. Papers sent to all members of the Committee were filed with the committee papers. Correspondence between... the committee and the editor are located in the editor's papers. Poole's correspondence did not originate from her files, but in unedited material from the copy folders of the MLA News.
