Brochures and Booklets

Collection is concentrated on Dr. Johnson's administrative activities at Meharry. His correspondence represents only his later years at the college (1968-1997) and is very limited. His administrative work is described through reports on various programs and program proposals (1967-1998), documentation of curriculum, faculty matters, funding, and training (1967-1996), and brochures for, descriptions of, and rationales for various academic programs (1971-1997). Dr. Johnson's own research and public health interests are represented by his writings (1949-2000) and speeches and lectures (1977-1997). Smaller segments of the collection hold various newsletters devoted to health issues and documentation of conferences attended.
