Biographical Note

Warfield Monroe Firor received his M.D. from Johns Hopkins University In 1921. He spent his entire career as a professor at Johns Hopkins. His areas of interest included tetanus, sulfonamides in intestinal surgery, effect of hypophysectomy in pregnancy, and adrenal cortical hormone.
