Collection Summary From the Collection: The NLM's collection of papers relating to the AAMSI was a gift from Dr. William A. Bauman. These are not the official archives of the organization, but rather reflect Dr. Bauman's long and productive involvement with the association. Dr. Bauman holds a unique position in the organizational history of the AAMSI in that he had been a member of SCM since its inception, and served as the SCM's president in 1981?82 during the period of its merger with SAMS to form the AAMSI.
