Description

In this essay, Freis provided definitions and overviews of the various classifications of hypertension: borderline, mild, moderate, moderately severe, and severe. He indicated that although most patients diagnosed with borderline hypertension, and many with mild hypertension, would not necessarily receive drug therapy, physicians should be diligent in following-up with these patients since their condition could easily progress.
