Gorman told this audience at the annual luncheon of the Mental Health Association of Delaware that improving care for the mentally ill would depend not just on training more psychiatrists and psychologists, but on training many non-specialists--clergy, teachers, probation officers, public health nurses, and social workers--to help out.
