Gorman commended the San Francisco Association for Mental Health for developing a 12-week course to increase the psychiatric knowledge of public and private schoolteachers, and then discussed future strategies for helping the thousands of emotionally disturbed children in the U.S., including the recommendations of the Joint Commission on Mental Illness and Health.
