Memorandum from Mike Gorman to the National Committee Against Mental Illness

Gorman reported to his colleagues on the status of the draft report of the Joint Commission on Mental Health of Children, which he had helped write. His hard-hitting draft, he said, had been "emasculated." He was furious at the undemocratic operation of the commission, and announced that he was resigning from "the non-functioning Editorial Committee."
