Abstract
UNPROCESSED COLLECTION. Dr. Huth trained in internal medicine and engaged in fluid-electrolyte research before he began his service as the editor of Annals of Internal Medicine, the journal of the American College of Physicians. His editorship ran from 1971 to 1990. After his retirement he helped to launch the Online Journal of Current Clinical Trials, a project of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and served as its editor for two years. He has published four books, three of which have to do with medical writing. The most widely known is 'Writing and Publishing in Medicine', published by Williams & Wilkins. His most recently published book (American College of Physicians) is, Medicine in Quotations, a collection of over three thousand quotations illustrating the history of medicine as well as current issues in medical care and economics. Long known as the "Dean of American Medical Editors"
