Biographical Note
Manuel Hornedo received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Galveston. He spent his career in El Paso, his home town, as health officer for the city and county and was a Texas State Health Department District Director. He founded the Hornedo Institute of Cancer Research in 1935. Dr. Hornedo retired in 1969.
