Biographical Note

Theodore Wiprud served as executive director and secretary of the Medical Society of the District of Columbia from 1938 to 1963. During that period he was also managing editor of the Medical Annals of the District of Columbia.

Collection Summary

Letters, 1942-1946, sent to Wiprud by physician members of the MSDC who were serving in the U.S. armed forces during World War II. Newsletters prepared by Wiprud, often incorporating text from the letters he received, and distributed to MSDC members, 1943-1946.
