Indian Health Service Special Project Branch negatives
UNPROCESSED COLLECTION. Unframed slides. The majority of the slides are for the early environmental sanitation efforts associated with implementation of P.L. 86-121 "The Indian Sanitation Facilities Construction Act", but there are also tuberculosis sanitarium, nursing, nutrition, and other clinical and field health training and Public Relations related photos. The Special Project Branch was an early IHS training program. Two series: EH Prefix 1957-1964 1-2508; 1964 2100-2784.
Indian Schools of Practical Nursing Collection
Collection highlights the history of the program. Beginning in Oklahoma in 1935, the program prepared women of Native American decent to become licensed practical nurses.
International Military Tribunal, Nuremberg trials transcripts and documentary evidence of German medical experiments in the commission of war crimes and crimes against humanity
Documentation consists of two different series. One series is comprised of 35 legal-sized mimeographed volumes (11,538 pages) containing the English transcript of the proceedings at the trial itself. The other series consists of 29 manuscript boxes containing mimeographed copies in German (and some English translations) of the documents used in the preparation of the trial.
