Correspondence, memoranda, minutes of meetings, reports, printed matter, studies and surveys relating to medical schools, hospitals, faculties and students, associations and societies, institutes and conferences, publications, foundations and funds, pharmaceutical firms, and government affairs and legislation. Most of the material dates from the 1950s and 1960s.

Ward Darley was Professor of Medicine, 1946-1956, and Dean, 1945-1948, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Many items in the collection relate to the Association of American Medical Colleges (1958-67), the American Medical Association (1964-66), the American Academy of General Practice (1960-67), EDUCOM (1964-68), and the White House Conference on Health (1965-66).
