Includes recipes for treatment of rheumatism, gout, menorrhagia, gonorrhea, nausea of pregnant females, after [birth] pains, ulcerative stomatitis, diarrhea, diarrhea of phthisis, night sweats, amonorrhea, dysmenouhrea, chronic constipation, acidity of flatulence, and dropsy. Also instructions for preparing tonics, narcotics and sedatives, expectorants, cathartics, lotions and salves.
