One commemorative vial encased in acrylic, presented to Monroe Troutby Donald Shepherd, vice president of manufacturing for Sterling Drug Co. Accordingto internal documentation, this is allegedly the first vial ever produced by Lucius & Brüning Hoesch. Salvarsan, the tradename for arsphenamine, was the first organic antisyphilitic.
