Biographical Note

Bovee graduated from the George Washington School of Medicine, Washington: Columbian University Medical Department in 1885. He spent his career in the District of Columbia as a gynecologist at Columbia Hospital for Women, George Washington University Hospital, St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and Providence Hospital. He was editor of Bovee’s practice of gynecology.
