Biographical Note

Drs. Mae Mills Link and Hubert A. Coleman were historians for the Air Surgeon's Office during World War II. Link then served as Chief Medical Historian for the Air Force from 1951 to 1962, when she joined NASA's Office of Manned Space Flight.

Link and Coleman also wrote Medical support of the Army Air Forces in World War II (1955). While with NASA, Dr. Link wrote Space medicine in Project Mercury (1965).
