Consists of Thomas A. Brayton's notes on lectures given by Eaton, Batchelder, and Williams at the Berkshire Medical Institution, Pittsfield, Massachusetts, 1821-1822, and 1824.

Dr. John Adriani (1907-1988) was a nationally known anesthesiologist who played a key role in anesthesiology's evolution into a full-blown medical specialty. Most of the collection reflects Adriani's career in anesthesiology after it began to flower in the late 1940s.
The collection includes the papers of Herbert Rowell Stolz. It also contains biographical and genealogical data, correspondence files with individuals and organizations, child development materials, lecture notes, talks, typescripts, reprints, and photographs.
