Series 41: Personnel Survey Committee
Scope and Contents
In 1947 the Personnel Survey Committee was established as a subcommittee of the Placement Advisor to survey salaries and training of medical librarians. The committee established a roster of medical librarians who submitted individual forms about their training, work experience and salary. The results of the survey were presented and later published in 1948 (with a follow-up study in 1949), 1952, and 1958. The forms were retained pending microfilming.... They have been kept as received. A small amount of material from the placement advisor has been filed here. In 1963 the Headquarters office assumed the placement duties. More material is located in the Headquarters series.
