Scope and Contents

Around 1981 the History of Medicine Group changed its name to the History of the Health Sciences Section. The Section created a guide to consultants in the history of medicine (1970), proposed a directory of history of medicine collections, assisted with the preparation of CE courses in medical history reference work, and sponsored talks at luncheon and dinner meetings.
